The frames shown here are similar examples and each one will have
its own unique
character depending on the wood from which it is made.
They are made from various old dead wood taken from the forests,
buildings, cabins and barns of Idaho. Some have knotty alder.

Wood knots, holes and cracks are part of the character of wood and shall not be considered defects. All pieces are subject to a certain amount of cracking, scratches, checking and splitting. This is the nature of wood, often caused by changes in humidity and not to be considered a defect.
